cultural centre of the south of Russia. In the centre of the composition
the stamp features Rostov-on-Don’s coat of arms against the background
of river station building (on the left), the City Duma and the cathedral

bicentennial of Mediterranean cruise of Russian squadron under travel commander,
Admiral Fyodor F.Ushakov’s order. The cruise of Russian squadron under
Fyodor F.Ushakov’s order took place during the war of Russia as a member
of the Second Coalition against France in 1798-1800. The squadron occupied
Ionic islands including Corfu (Cerkira) and took part in liberation of
